Fungal Infection In Groin Area, Taken Clotrimazole Dusting Powder, Butenafine Hydrochloride Cream. Cure?

hello doctor i have been suffering from fungal infection groin area and foot for almost a month have carried treatment for 4 weeks signs of improvement but not totally gone. my doctors says takes upto 2 months for cure. why are fungal infections so difficult to cure, what is the normal length to cure these kinds of fungal infections. using clotrimazole dusting powder 1% butenafine hydrochloride cream 1%

bibek, can you please mention your age?
is it itchy?
it appears to be tinea cruris
generally it subsides in a week or two.if its not subsiding then do a blood test for sugar level ,both fasting level and post- prandial level.if you are obese then reduce you weight.
do you have any health related problems?any habits?
continue the same treatment. your doctor can add one mild steroid cream for 5 to 6 days .
also keep thatt area dry.change underwear daily.avoid tight clothes.use cotton one.
