Gas Formation, Belching, Flatulence, Indigestion, Stomach Fullness. Taking Diamicron. Due To Medication?
I take Metformin 1000mg and Diamicron MR 60mg twice per day. I find that sometimes I experience gas symptoms belching , flatulence no stomach pain but slight indigestion.. sometimes I feel like I do not want to eat because my stomach feels full. Can these drugs cause this problem. this feeling is relieved when I taken Diovol Plus
It may be not due to medication it may be due to gastritis or food intolerence or infection or anemia etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.
Use tablet pantoprazole before breakfast for one week. Avoid spicy food and alcohol. Avoid smoking and caffeine drinks. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
