Hello!
I read carefully your query.
The symptoms you describe are indicative for
Angina Pectoris which is a heart condition when the arteries that supply your heart with blood are narrowed. In this case these narrowed vessels can carrier enough blood to complete the heart needs in rest but not enough in activity and this is the reason you experience
chest pain during physical activity, pain that stops if you rest. With time the risk is that these narrowed vessels can close complete causing
heart attack (the part of the heart that doesn't get supplied with blood dies).
The diagnosis of Angina Pectoris of effort need some tests including :ECG,
Stress test,Coronarography .
Pur-bloka is a drug used to prevent further episodes of angina pectoris and to prevent heart attack.
A tablet of pur-bloka 40 mg contain 40 mg
propranolol hydrochloride.
Propanolol is mamber of a drug class called b-blocker.These drugs acts by inhibiting b-receptor in heart.
In response to the inhibition of the ß-receptors, the oxygen requirement diminishes which proves beneficial in cases of angina pectoris. The blood pressure in hypertensive patients is also reduced because of this effect.
Its principal effect is to reduce the response of the heart to stress and exercise and it reduces blood pressure in patients with
hypertension.
Propanolol is indicated in vary conditions such as :
-To treat cardiac arrhythmias
-To improve the tolerance to exercise in patients with angina of effort.
-Treatment of hypertension - usually in conjunction with a thiazide
diuretic.
Hope my answer has helped.
Take care.
