Get Constant Itching On Legs. Shower In Warm Water And Use Mild Products. Started Combined HRT. Suggest?

I get constant itching of my legs in particular, so bad it can last for over an hour. I only shower in warm
water and have a warm bath. I use mild soaps and have not changed my routines or products. I have
started combined hrt 3 weeks ago and the pruitis seems to have increased since then, getting progressively
worse. I want to scratch my legs, arms and sometimes my back raw - it feels like falling in a nettle patch!
Could it be the hrt? thank you

Hi i think it is acute urticaria.it is due to food allergens.dyes and insect stings.it present as transient hives all over the body with severe itching.it can be cured by atarax 25 mg at night and alaspan in the day time and use af antibiotic twice daily and application of calamine lotion can cure the disease.if no response in 15 days go for oral steriods like wysolone 30 mg daily tapered to 10 mg daily within 15 days
