Getting Lighter Period Than Normal After Changing Contraceptive From Marvelon To Gedarel. Is It Common?
My doctor changed my contraceptive from marvelon to gedarel. Took the first 21 day packet as normal, now on 7 day break and period started a day later than normal and its much lighter than normal, just wanting to know if this is my body adjusting to a different pill?
Different pills have different hormonal components and sometimes changeover from one pill to another does cause a chsnge in amount of flow...watch your periods for one more cycle and if again you are having scanty periods then you might consider taking the first pills only....was there any specific reason for switching the pill by your doctor? ?
