Getting Nasty Cough And Heavy Chest. How To Get Relief?
I was cleaning my bathroom alternating a bleach spray, wipe it down, then ammonia spray. It is possible they may have mixed. I now have a pretty nasty cough and heavy chest. No fever , no vomiting , no blue nail beds... I have read on some sites that I should see a doctor right away (ie: go to ER) and I have read on others to just drink warm liquids and take cough medicine . Suggestions?

you need anti allergic tab
montelucast 10 mg bd is good anti allergic to control the cough
can se bronchodilator syp bd
add antacid gel liquid 3 times a day after meals
can se for 2 week to completely control it
lot of warm water to be taken

You're absolutely correct that mixing bleach with ammonia can be very problematic. This mixture can create chlorine gas. This is toxic to the lungs. In most cases gentle supportive care is all that needs to be done.
