Hello, Megestrol acetate is a progesterone compound used in the treatment of breast and endometrial cancers. If your endometrial scrapings showed evidence of a neoplasm in the uterus, your treatment would be based on the extent of the disease. Please ask your surgeon as to what exactly is the clinical condition and follow the treatment modalities properly. Early intervention gives a very good chance of cure. There is no need to panic even if it is a malignancy, as you have every chance of remission with appropriate management. Hope this helps.
