hello
prgnancy commonly has bad effects on tooth and gingiva both due to lack of proper
oral hygiene and also due to harmonal changes
pregnancy induced
gingivitis is common occurring although pregnancy induced tumour (the hole on the gum with a black dot ) is not so common
probable causes include
1.poor oral hygiene
2.vitamin c or
folic acid deficiency
3.any other nutritional deficiency
4.harmonal changes
now about your query , stay calm and dont panic ,just wait till your next appointment and have your scaling crrettage and root planing done by your
dentist. That will clear out the condition
in the meanwhile what i would suggest is that you maintain proper oral hygiene by following ways
1.luke warm saline rinses 4-6 times daily
2.use an antiseptic mouthwash after breakfast if you are allergic to toothpaste
3.use gum
astringent like oracep .take a drop of it on your clean index finger and rub it gently on your gums after each rinse
stay healthy and maintain calm
best wishes for your pregnancy
