Going To Have D&C And Wondering If There Could Be Complication. Had Appendix Removed. Suggest?

Hi,
I am going to have D&C and am wondering if there could be complications associated with that..... Besides, I've never undergone a procedure under full anesthesia, and my doctor insists that I do that.... I rather prefer a local one.... I even had my appendix removed under local - long time ago though, in Ukraine....

Hello and Zdrastvitsya/Privet.

There should be absolutely no complications of the procedure if perforned by an experienced surgeon. General anesthesia is only contraindicated due to some underlying conditions or complications in the patient, you have listed no such procedures or conditions. Assuming that is the case, I am sure you are fit and healthy for the procedure.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
