hello doctor i got NCCT of paranasal sinuses performed in coronal position . according to the report the impression states " CT findings reveal mild ethmoid and left sphenoid sinusitis and retention cyst in left maxillary antrum with mild dns left side and hypertrophied inferior turbinates " can u please tell me what does it mean ?
Hi, C T scan indicates that you are having infection of sinuses. there is a cyst formation in maxillary sinus. There is slight Daviated Nasal septum i.e.there is mid septum by which two nostrils are forms which is slightly turned on left side. These all indicate that you might be having chronic cold with some problem of having nasal block some times. Cosult ENT specialist and take advice. Ok and take care.
