Got Injury In Tailbone. Had Scoliosis Growing Up. What Should Be Done?

I fell down my stairs, landing on my tailbone and left buttock/ hip & thigh. I was already having bad back spasms (for an unknown Reason, I was going to my PC for that before this fall). I had scoliosis growing up, I wore a back brace for many years. I have been taking Motrin and a ton of robaxin with heating pad , is there anything else I can do?

Thank you for your query.
The first help for coccyx injury is to use a Ring cushion to sit on. When it comes to chronic pain relief one must be very careful regarding medicine that affects your stomach and kidney. The best approach is to try nerve stabilizing drugs instead of painkillers, and if you need painkillers to go for COX 2 inhibitors . Speak to yor doctor about alternatives with a physiotherapist regarding ultrasound, pressure point treatment etc.. Also consider transdermal medicine.
I trust this information is helpfull.
