Got Punched On Nose. Have Painful Bump. Nose And Inner Eye Swollen. Headache And Nauseous. Cure?
Hi,
I got punched in the nose lastnight while play fighting with my boyfriend, it was an accident. As soon as it happened I had a bump on my left ride of my nose ans the pain was so bad I started tp cry. When i woke up this morning I Looked in the mirror and my nose and inner eye is swollen and badly bruised and it is still very painful. I have a headache and im feeling a bit nausous (not severe). Im just wondering if this is normal symptpms and if i broke my nose?

I read your query regarding swelling on nose and inner aspect of eye, this all happen after sustaining hit by your boy friend.
As per your complaints it appears as there may be fracture of nasal pyramid, or it may be only cellulitis. To confirm it you may do X-Ray nasal bones.
To treat it you may take-
(1) hot fomentation.
(2) Anti inflammatory.
If X-Ray nasal bones indicates any fracture than consultation with ENT doctor will be necessary.
