Green Spots In Phlegm. Lump In Gum, Filled With Clear Fluid And Blood. Linked Conditions?
hi, i have been having a problem with my phlegm . when i bring it up it has dark green spots in it. i have smoked for about 3 months, also there is a lump in the gum above my tooth filled with clear fluid and blood . when i wash my mouth out with salt water, it dissappears then a few days later comes back. i dont know if these are linked but i would like some help with it
I believe the problem you are having with phlegm and the lump above your tooth are not related. The fluid filled bump is most likely do from a tooth infection. Usually a chronic tooth infection will begin to drain in the gum tissue above (or below on the bottom teeth). If this is the case the treatment would be either a root canal if the tooth is still restorable or extracting the tooth. The tooth infection should be addressed because it can lead to a larger infection.
