Groin Pain With Limping While Walking After Having Surgery For Active Femur. What Questions Can I Ask The Doctor During Visit?
1. My son had surgery 2 weeks ago for an active femur. This is his second time undergoing surgery. The first time he fractured his femur. The second time his started having groin pain and limping when running and walking. We go for a follow up this week coming up. What are questions I could ask the doctor? 2. I have had pain on my left hip back side for now over 2 months. The pain is now on my left bottom side and I have taken muscle relaxers and it has not helped.
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. After a surgery of the femur, your son will have to take rest for at least 6 weeks for proper healing after which physiotherapy will help him in regaining the proper movement and strength. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Praveen Tayal , drtayal72@gmail.com
