Hello and welcome to HCM, The gross appearance of the uterus and cervix are within normal limits. The findings on microscopic examination are as follows: 1. The endometrium or the lining of the uterus shows mild degree of hyperplasia. Hyperplasia implies that there is increase in number of glands and amount of stroma. Mild hyperplasia without atypia is of no consequences. 2. Adenomyosis: Adenomyosis is presence of endometrial glands in the underlying stroma. This is a normal finding in number of healthy uteruses. So, there is nothing to worry about it. 3. Cervix shows features of chronic cervicitis. Chronic inflammation is present under normal circumstances.
There is nothing to worry. The findings are within normal limits except for mild hyperplasia of the endometrium.
