Had IUD Inserted. During Period Have Pain While Urinating, Cramps In Ovary Area, Unable To Empty Stomach. Suggest?
I had my paragard IUD inserted a month ago, I am now on day 4 of my period and have had stabbing pains while trying to urinate (sharp cramps all over, but esp in my left ovary area. That is like a throbing pain) that I can barely empty my bladder. This has been for the last 2 days now. I just tried to feel the strings, but couldn't feel anything (I've actually never felt for them before.) I have a call into my Dr, but they are closed till tomorrow.

nothing to worry for IUD.
most probably, u r having UTI
drink plenty of fluids,
take urinary anagesic
get a gynac chek-up.
