Had USG Pelvic, Report Shows Normal Uterus And Homogenous Myometrial Echogenicity. What Does This Mean?
My USG of Pelvis - TVS report says : The uterus is normal in size and retroverted. It has homogenous myometrial echogenicity. Endometrial thickness is 5.7mms. Uterine dimension are 6.3 x 3.4 x 4.6 cms. What does it mean by It has homogenous myometrial echogenicity ?? Is my report good or is there something to worry ??
hello,
This report of TVS pelvis is a normal report. homogenous myometrial echogenecity means the myometrium is normal. Myometrium is the muscle of uterus.
I would like to know the reason why this USG was done that is for which complaints, to further comment on this.
Also, you have not mentioned about the ovaries, so I suppose rest other things are normal.
Hope this information is helpful to you.
