Had UTI. Finished Cipro. Developed Vaginal Discharge With Itching, Rash Yeast Infection And Odor. Had Fluconazole

I have had a uti for about a month now. I just finished a 10 script of cipro and am still experiencing symptoms. I have developed a vaginal discharge along with the infection. I have had 3 scripts of fluconazole and still no relief. Up until a couple of days ago there was no odor accompaning the discharge. Now I can detect a slight odor. Is this all caused by the medication or can there be something else causing the discharge? I have the usual itching and rash that comes with a yeast infection.

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The symptoms that you have described are likely to be related to bacterial vaginosis. This needs proper antibiotic treatment of both the partners for complete cure.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
