Had A TL. Had My Period, Wasn T Heavy. Now Have Pinkish Brown Discharge. Have Headache, Little Dizzy. Suggestions?

I had a TL in December 2003 after the birth of my second child. I had my period a week ago and it only lasted 2 days and wasn't very heavy at all. Today I noticed a very light pinkish brown discharge after I used the bathroom. I have been experiencing headaches and a little dizziness. I have also had a fluttering sensation in my stomach. Just wondering what this could be and should I be concerned?

Hi,
It is more likely that you are experiencing some breakthrough bleed; you should get pregnancy excluded, though. As the tissues heal, there is a possibility of recanalization and the incidence of failures increases with the increasing duration from the procedure. Other causes of such disturbances include weight changes, stress, certain medications and infections. Please get a urine pregnancy test done and see a specialist for further appraisal of the situation. Hope your query has been answered. Take care.
