Otolaryngologist / ENT Specialist, Dr. Omair's Response
Hello,
Any associated complaints other than feeling dizzy? DO you feel any pain in the throat as well? Do you smoke? Any food regurgitation or complaints of acidity in stomach? Is your voice affected? How long do you stay dizzy? Did you get your blood pressure and blood sugar checked? Are you drinking enough water?
Sometimes due to exercise and loss of water due to sweating, dehydration occurs that can make you dizzy and may also cause fainting. The throat tightness can also be due to thick secretions in the throat that gives a choking feeling. Your blood pressure, blood sugar and your basic blood work (Blood complete picture) will be very helpful to rule out any other pathology. There is nothing to worry about. Drink enough water, do warm saline gargles twice a day for 5 days and get these investigations done.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
