Had A Fight. Have Bruises, Headache And Neck Pain. No Nausea. Recommendations?

Hell0
recently about two days ago I was mugged by three people, my stupidity was that I refused to hand over my belongings, so a fight broke, and people came and etc...
the result was that I have multiple bruises, and now after two days minor headaches, and neck pain.
on the right side of my neck on the back just under my right ear, like a straight line, there is pain. and also in the front of my head, but very mildly.
I have no Nausea, or dual sight, or drowsiness.

Hi and thanks for the query,
Its very unlikely that you should any serious intracerebral or brain lesions. However, you need to continue being watchful of any signs of increased intracerebral pressure like severe headaches especially in the mornings, visual abnormalities, nausea and vomiting or fits. Considering taking simple analgesics and some ice parks for the pain you are experiencing now should be very sufficient, I suggest you stay calm and not hesitate to report to your physician of any unwanted onset of signs or symptoms in case they set in.
Thanks and hope this helps as I wish you the best of health.

Hi, Thanks for posting your query, The treatment of neck pain depends on its precise cause. Treatment options include rest, heat or cold applications, traction, soft collar traction, physical therapy (ultrasound, massage, manipulation), local injections of cortisone or anesthetics, topical anesthetic creams, topical pain patches, muscle relaxants, analgesics, and surgical procedures. Home remedies for treatment, such as Jacuzzi treatment, neck pain relief exercises and stretches, and neck pain relief products such as neck pillows for sleep and hot pads can be very beneficial for relief of some forms of neck pain. There are many treatment options, depending on the particular neck problem and past treatment experiences. Alternative treatments that have been used for chronic neck pain include acupuncture. Regards, Dr.Sharmila
