Had A Tubal Ligation With Irregular Periods. Had Hot Flashes, Headache And Tiredness. Could I Be Pregnant?

Hi my name is April. I m 22 I have had a tubal ligation in July of 2012 after my fourth csection . I have had irregular periods since. This time I m still waiting on my period. My last one was Jan 20th 2013. I have had hot flashes, headaches , tired all the time, and ow today I have a yeast infection . Could I be pregnant??

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
As you underwent tubal ligation there is less possibility for pregnancy.
If you are breast feeding your baby that can be one cause for your irregular periods.
You better consult gynecologist once and get examined, undergo ultrasound.
By this the possible cause of your problem can be identified.
If needed your doctor may recommend thyroid profile to you, as thyroid hormonal abnormality can also cause menstrual irregularity.
