Had An Mri Of The Lumbar Spine With And Without Contrast. What Does The Result Suggest?
I had an mri of the lumbar spine with & without contrast. Just want to find out what they mean: At L4-5 there is diffuse disc bulge and mild facet and ligamentum flavum hypertrophy combining to yield relatively mild encroachment upon the canal and right neural foramen. At L5-S1 there is extruded disc extending up from the disc level posterior to L5.
This means dat there are age related changes which shows abnormal growth of bone by the end of spine which are reaching upto the nerves and compressing them .these changes will cause you pain in back and in legs .so for avoiding this you should consult orthopaedic
