Had Been Stabbed In Chest And Had Open Heart Surgery. Can I Ride Roller Coaster?
A year and a half ago someone tried to rob me and I was stabbed 3 times in the chest . I had to have open heart surgery and all went well. Now I want to know if I can go on a roller coaster. There is nothing genetically wrong with my heart and I have had no problems since then. Can I enjoy Disney World with my family or do I get to sit on the side lines?
Given the fact that you have had a previous surgery especially one that involves the heart. I advise you proceed with care and you may only involve physical activity upon advise of your doctor. You will need your heart evaluated completely with stress tests done to evaluate your heart's condition before you can go on a roller coaster. Your situation might be much more delicate than you can feel it and it is advisable to consult with a cardiologist first.
Hope this helps
