Starting by analyzing your query, you mentioned that you saw the appearance of pinkish-brownish discharge during your periods, which was when you had sexual intercourse? If yes, this is considered normal when seen during periods and exposure to vaginal penetration.
Now coming to a few more details. A pinkish discharge is in all ways almost always related to an infection of some sort. For this you will have to visit a doctor and get investigated for a urinary infection and sexually transmitted infections.
But, a pinkish discharge is also seen during the first few days of a period, and is considered to be normal when it occurs at that particular time of your menstrual cycle.
I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications. I would gladly help you.
Hi there,
Thanks for writing to us,
It is normal to have bleeding on intercourse during menstruation.
The menstrual cycle fluctuates between a period of 20 to 28 days.(in your case 19 days)
The fluctuation is due to hormonal imbalance, have an healthy iron rich diet like dates, milk, jiggery , etc,.
If your spotting wont seem to resolve, increasing in next cycle, get an gynecologist opinion.
Take care.
