Had Bleeding, Cramp, Incomplete Miscarriage Confirmed. Again Had Bleeding Twice. Miscarriage Or Actual Period?
I started bleeding and cramping on July 10 I went to the ER on July 12 and it was confirmed that I had a incomplete miscarriage I bleed until July 23 and then the bleeding stopped I started bleeding on August 9 and it lasted about 7 days and then stopped I haven't bleed since so I don't know if that was from the miscarriage or my actual period.
Hi, Thanks for writing in. I think the best think to sort this out is to have one pelvic ultrasound. If your uterus is empty then any bleeding you have now is your period unless you conceive again. Nothing can be said for sure about the August 9 bleeding. Wish you good health.
Hello Thanks for your query. You would require a pelvic transvaginal ultrasound. If it shows an empty uterine cavity, and no products retained inside, then what you had was most likely your period. If there is evidence of tissue inside, you are bleeding from the miscarriage, and might require further surgical abortion to complete the procedure. Take care.
