Had Chicken Pox. Have Crust Around Ear. Related To Virus?
My daughter (4 years old) has come out in Chickenpox she also has white gunk in her ear and a lot of crust around her ear, is this linked to the virus or should I get her to a doctor as she is really complaining that it hurts and she can t hear. She has no temp and the spots are not itchy well apart from the ones in and around her privet parts

Although this does seem like presentation that could be part of the chicken pox, I would still advise you to visit a doctor solely because your daughter complains of difficulty in hearing. Hoping the crusts have not affected parts of her middle or inner ear, this will require visualization and proper care and management.
If the crusts around her ear are similar to the ones on her body, it should not be of any concern. Do not touch or try to peel them off, they will fall of themselves. Many crusts will not be itchy in chicken pox, although they should be, and a few can be more itchy than the others. This does not differentiate any of the crusts.
As mentioned, my only concern is about your daughters hearing. Please visit a doctor at the earliest.
