Hello Welcome in H.C.M. I have gone through your query regarding brown fowl smelling discharge coming out of ear of your daughter. Though she is already having tubes put in her ear from the age of six. Clinical history favors the discharge coming from middle ear, probably the grommet may got blocked and in the mean time middle ear get infected. As soon as fluid came out ,pressure gets relieve and pain disappeared. I think now it will be better to consult ENT doctor for thorough examination and treatment. But till you are in waiting to consult ENT doctor you may do- 1- Keep ear clean and dry. 2- Tab Paracetamol for pain. 3- Antibiotic (probably broad spectrum with anaerobic coverage). 4- Anti-histamine. I hope this will help her. Regards.
