Had Dizzy Spells And Nausea. Have Irregular Periods. Hyperthyroidism In Family. Weight Gain. Advice?

I have had recent dizzy spells and alittle nausea. I have had irregular periods for some time now. I had an ultra sound a few months back to see if I had any cysts because I ahve a history of them, but everything came back fine. I have been looking up symptoms of hypothroidism because it runs in my family. this combined with the weight gain and inability to lose it no matter what I do, made me think thyroid.

Hi,
Thanks for using healthcare magic.

I have gone through your available history.

Your symptoms can be explained by hypothyroidism so you should consult endocrinologist for the same.

Doctor may advise you to go for thyroid function tests to rule it out.

I hope It will help you.

Thanks.
