Dear Sir/Madam
Thanks for your query to HCmagic.
A pain which comes on exertion, starting from breast bone and spreading across the chest and radiating to arm and goes with rest is highly suggestive of anginal heart disease. Why you could not walk on stress test for > 3 minutes? What is your age? Why they stopped it? All are important.
Even stress ECHO has a pick-up rate of ~85%. If it has been labelled as negative or normal, more important is how much you could walk and what you felt? If you had poor exercise capacity & you felt similar kind of central chest discomfort, you should be further evaluated. A baseline ECHO before stress ECHO must have shown the status of your leaking valve.
In the absence of reports, i can provide only this much of insight.
Feel free to discuss further.
Sincerely
sukhvinder
