Had Heart Surgery. Have Atrial Flutter. Taking Pevrone, Metropol And Diovan. What Category Are These?
M husband had open heart surgery, 3-way bipass & mitral valve repair ). Right now he is having Atrial flutter which has his heart rate elevated 90-140. I would like to identify what category his meds are, .i.e, ACE inhibitors, ARB s, Beta blockers, Calcium channel blockers. The meds are: Paverone, Metoprolol Tart, Diovan. Than you.

Dear patient, metaprolol is a beta blocker, diovan (valsetran ) is an ARB(angiotensin receptor blocker), but about the paverone, i am not sure,if it is pacerone instead of paverone then it is amiodarone which is a class3 anti arrythemic drug acting as potassium channel agonist
