Had Knee Replacement. It Is Swollen. Is Painful. On Tramadol. Should I Be Worried About The Findings?

I had knee replacement 4months ago, and my knee is still swollen quite large. I still have a lot of pain to add to this, I have been taking 1800mg a day, and also 50mg of tramadol. I just don't under stand it. Do you have any suggestions. When do you suggest the adhesions be removed

Hi, thank you for posting at HCM.

I can understand your problem very well.
You have used tramadol for a long time, that has side effects.
Its side effects are: blurred vision, dizziness, change balance, loss of memory, anxiety, bloating, stomach pain, chest pain and discomfort.
The side effects of tramadol cover the development of disease, like in your case, because you used it for a long time.

The symptoms shows that your knee is infected. You should be treated with antibiotic.
You need a knee x-ray, complete blood test, and international normalised ratio (INR) to eliminate the possibility of blood coagulation.

You should an orthopedic surgeon.

Fast Recover.
