Had Knee Scopes. Pins And Needle Pain In The Shin. Have Numbness. Any Suggestions?

I have had 5 knee scopes. After number 3, I developed a pins and needles sensation in the shin of my bad leg. For the most part, it is numb; it doesn't just hurt. It IS, however, very sensitive to stimulus that was not painful before this happened (ie. my dog's claws on my shin). The surgeon who did my first 4 surgeries acted like this was no big deal, but my leg has been this way for apx 5 years. Should this have been looked at more thoroughly when I first reported the symptom?

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi there ~

I understand your concern and that you have this neuropathic pain after your scope no. 3. I also understand that your doctor has not been the most empathetic person with regards to giving you enough attention to the parasthetic sensation. I hope you consult a neurologist or a psychiatrist who can help relieve your parasthesia in the shin region. I hope this helps. Take care and have a lovely day!
