Had Lightheadedness And Chest Discomfort With Elevated D-dimer. Can It Be Due To Anxiety As I Have Ptsd

Went to the er last night for lightheadedness sob and chest discomfort d-dimer was elevated but ct scan was negative for a pe I was laying down and lifted my head to yell at my kids for fighting and had two episodes of chest pain that came and went I can pin point the area is it my anxiety because I do have ptsd and tend to worry a lot

as you are saying you have ptsd ( post traumatic stress disorder) and though your d dimer is elevated as your ctpa is negative we can rule out pulmonary embolism.
but it appers that you worry much and this may lead to anxiety attacks or cardiac related problems so go for complete cardiac evaluation if there is no problem ther e it could be simply anxiety attack
