Had Lower Back Surgery, Pain At Surgical Site. Reason?

I had lower back surgery (6 hour operation-10 screws) 2 years ago, Sept 30. I have terrible pain at the surgical site
now, some days worse than others. A big operation, bone graft extensive, a number of things had to be corrected so the main nerve could be restored freely to it proper channel. I understand that & would do it again based on the results of my MRI at the time. I just had no idea the pain would be so great at the surgical site. I don's feel that any of the hardware has come out of place or that anything has gone wrong with the operation results. It just aches and hurts greatly. Can you give me some sound advice. Thanks for your time. Jerry (72 yrs old)

Sir i would recommend an xray but first you need to tell me the exact nature of your surgery.
