Had Lung Infection, On Antibiotics, Sinus Infection, Coughing Up Green Phlegm. Could This Be A Type Of Cancer?
I had a lung infection eight months ago, had been on antibiotics a sinus infection at the same time and had taken an antibiotic for that also . I am still coughing up green flem hugely . could this be a type of cancer ? I have been back to my doctor but have been told there is no infection .
Hi and welcome to HCM. Thanks for the query. Cancer is the last thing to think of. It sounds to me more like COPD or emphysema especially if you smoke. Also it can be some other lung disease but cancer is not usually manifested with these symptoms. You can also have some chronic bacterial inflamamtion. so I suggest to do lung ventilation test and more detailed microbiologic testing. Wish you good health. Regards
