Had Major Rotor Cuff Surgery, Have Severe Degenerative Neck Disease.
I had majhor rotor cuff surgery in 2006 r-shoulder...have severe degenerative neck disease...Southern Maine Medical Center written interpretation.... spinal stenosis , 3 large disc bulges...today I noticed a large bulge where scar is about the size of a half-orange...3 1/2 inches in diameter a little worried because stiff necks for over three mo s and pain
I will advise you to do recent MRI cervical spine. Due to compression of this nerve root there is tingling numbness in your arm and pain associated with it.
For these symptoms analgesic and neurotropic medication can be started. Till time, avoid lifting weights, Sit with support to back. You can consult physiotherapist for help. Physiotherapy like ultrasound and interferential therapy will give quick relief. I will advise to check your vit B12 and vit D3 level.
If nerve compression becomes severe later on then surgical decompression will give permanent relief.
Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
Wishing you good health.
Take care
