Had Muscle Pull, Hip, Leg Pain After Accident, Now Subsiding, Unable To Bend, Reoccured. Muscle Pull, Hernia?
I was doing barbell rows where you stand bent over pulling the bar towards your chest. I broke form and pulled with my back when I pulled the bar towards my chest. That's when I felt my back muscle quiver and grow weak for the pain. An hour later I felt it in the right side of my hip and the front of my leg. I was able to walk, and sit with no issues again and it felt like it was getting better very slowly. I still couldn't bend to well. Well I moved a chair and I guess I wasn't completely healed so it happened again. Is this a pulled muscle or a hernia? Is it something completely different?
Hello, the character and radiation of pain suggest to be from spinal nerve which might be irritated due to a small sprain or prolapse of disc. I advise you to avoid forward bending as of now, take some rest, go for a clinical check up along with diagnostic work up. If all ok start with some back strengthening exercises which help you get back to workout safely. Thank you
