Had Protected Sex. Having Delayed Periods, Cramps. Reason?
Hello. I am 16 years old and sexually active. In the month of February I had protected sex the weekend before I had my normal period (2/10-2/15). I then had again protected sex on 2/18 after my period was over. Time passed and on both days of 3/4 and 3/7 I had protected sex again. We used a condom, I am NOT on the pill and he finished inside but with a condom, which did not tear or rip. Well an app predicted my period to start on the 13th of this month and well, it s the 18th now leaving it at 31 days into my cycle. I am often irregular. Each month is different, some are as low as 23 days and other 30. I am four days late and I am very scared. I have mild cramping, but that s about it for symptons. I know stress can delay your period but I can t help it. At this point, how soon can I take a pregnancy test and have accurate results? Can someone please tell me what is going on. Please.
Hello Thanks for your query. If the most delay in your periods so far has been 30 days, then you are already 31 days now. Wait for a week more and take a pregnancy test. Yes, dont stress out. easier said than done. Since you had protected sex each time, chacnes of pregnancy are low. Take care.
