Had Spotting. Taken Norethisterone. Blood HCG Came Back Negative. Was It Implantation Spotting?
I was sexually active 10-14 days ago. Blood hCG taken yesterday morning came back negative this morning and i took a norethisterone 5mg this afternoon. Afterwhich, i noticed spotting which is uncommon in my menstrual history. Could it be implantation spotting, or was the menstruation supposed to come but stopped by the norethisterone i took? i was instructed 5mg twice a day for 10 days till i get my menstruation. I do not want to get pregnant. Should i continue taking the medicine as instructed or stop and observe?
