Had Stealth Guided Craniotomy And Excision Of Ganglion. Done MRI, Post Surgical Change In Parietal Occipital Region. Explain

Hi my partner had a stealth guided craniotomy and excision of ganglion a grade 1 in January this year then found out was pregnant has had baby last Monday and now has just had review MRI and findings show there is an area of encephalomalacia and post surgical change in the left parietal occipital region over an area of approximately 15mm just wondering what tis means

According to reports
There is 15 mm area of encephalomalacia with post surgical changes in mentioned part of brain.
Encephalomalacia is brain degeneration and it is due to surgical excision of ganglion.It is common finding after operation and it won't cause any problem.
So,you don't worry at all.
