Had Stent Placement In RCA, Have Breathlessness, Dizziness. Taking Brilinta. Shall I Switch To Plavix?
Hi, I had a stent placement in my RCA 3 days ago, since then I have been taking Brilinta and feel dizzy and short of breath, I asked my doctor aboiut switching to Plavix, I was told that if I do I need to take 300mg the first dose and then 75mg/1xday after that, I have already taken 90mg of brilinta today ,but want to make the switch tonight to plavix, so does the dosing stay the same for the first dose of Plavix. Thank You

Because the effect of the pill disepear after 12 h, you should begean plavix after 12 h.
First you should take the loading dose of plavix ( 300mg ).
