Had Stomach Flu, Small White Bump On Right Side Of Tongue. Causes Of The Bump ?

21 year old had a stomach flu for the past three days. Consisted of abdominal pain , nausea , consistent headache and dizziness . On the third day she developed a small white bump on the right side of her tongue. She was eating a lot of saltine crackers that might have caused it, but not sure. What could have caused the small bump?

Hi,

The small white bump could be related to increased acidity due to stomach flu.

It might be that the saltine crackers have precipitated their appearance.

Can use oral antiseptics (containing iodine or oral herbal mixture). Honey with baking soda can also help. Keep good oral hygiene.

Thank you.
