Hello

Thanks for writing to H.C.M. for your query.

I have gone through your query regarding sinusitis, you have been operated for the same about 24 years back, and now you have again developed nasal obstruction and you have started mouth breathing. Considering your all complaints and co-relating with your past history of illness it appears as unfortunately you have developed again sinusitis may or maynot be associated with polyp.

As for as treatment is concern I would like to suggest you to please consult an ENT specialist to examine you properly and revision surgery is the only effective treatment if it s diagnose as sinusitis. On the other hand if you avoid surgery you may land over complications of sinusitis.

Regards.

Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
As this chronic problem of having nasal block, there might be two possibilities.
1, Nasal polyp,
2, Deviated Nasal Septum.
You have not mentioned about your surgery in the past.
Consult ENT specialist and ask for what purpose second surgery is required.
In both above mentioned conditions surgery may require.
If require go for x-ray Para Nasal Sinuses.
Ok and bye.
