Had Two Miscarriages. Low INR. Took Low Dosage Of Aspirin. What Might Be The Cause?

Hi doctor, I'm 30 years and I've had two miscarriages, the first one happened May 14 I was 19wks gestation but wen I did an ultrasound, the baby had stopped breathing since 14wks so I did a dnc, d 2nd one happened sep 18, was 8wks, did my first ultrasound and I was told it was a blighted ovum. My doctor said my INR is low, I had an INR of 0.81. I was put on a low dosage of aspirin for the second pregnancy. Really confused on wat might b d cause cos I have a son already and his pregnancy was normal.

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
A low INR can cause a decrease in the placental circulation causing an early fetal death. Since you had two abortions already it is best to continue taking low dose aspirin for better circulation.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
