Had Unprotected Oral Sex. Getting Cold, Skin Peeling Off Inside Cheek. Concerned

Please get laboratory tests done for sexually transmitted infections. Do tests for HIV I and II as well. If all these tests report no abnormality then cool down. I have found that "Fear of HIV" causes more distress soon after unsafe sex than HIV itself.



Repeat the pathology investigations after 6 months of the day of intimacy to be doubly sure.



Oral sex (Fellatio) is not a good way of transmitting HIV from the giver to the receiver. The chances of getting HIV in the above scenario are theoretical (meaning practically you don't get HIV infection by this route ).

Oral sex has been shown to be a less risky activity, but it is not risk free. Again, it depends on the viral load of the person with HIV and the dental health of the person performing the act
