Had Unprotected Oral Sex With Prostitute. Having Sore Throat, Cold And Cough. Worried Of STD Infection?
Four weeks ago I was on a bachelor party and stupidly had an alcohol fuelled threesome with 2 prostitutes. This was in a legal European brothel that seemly offered sex on an industrial scale so I am sure these were two very high risk people.
I had sexual intercourse with both girls and wore a condom throughout. Also in an alcohol induced moment of madness, I performed unprotected oral sex on one of the girls including rimming.
I struggle to explain my behaviour except to say that I have a long standing problem with alcohol that causes me to make very poor decisions.
I feel a sense if deep shame, this is the first time I have had sex with prostitutes and the first time I have had sex outside of marriage.
I need to know how at risk I am of passing something onto my wife.
At the time the feelings of guilt and betrayal and the fear that I may have picked up an STD consumed my thoughts at all times of the day.
Recently I had been thinking about it less and less although I have made an appointment for a full STD checkup in early June.
However today I developed a sore throat which has gradually turned into a fever and cold symptoms. I have clogged up and my throat is on fire.
I am rarely ill so this developing 4 weeks after the incident has left me a nervous wreck. My mental health has deteriorated today as I am now convinced this is early symptoms of a serious STD such as HIV. I know you cannot physically help me but I need to know what your professional opinion on my likelihood of having HIV or another similarly serious STD.
I am in a living hell right now, please help.

it is not possible for me to say that u r hiv infected or not ,it only needs blood test for elisa or for early detection pcr.
but almost 60-90% of man when they get first time infection ,they develop flu like symptom with first 6 weeks of exposure ,symptoms incl sore throat, lyphadenopathy ,fever skin rash,it for 1 week thn it gradually fades away in next week.if u have gone through the same phase thn u might be infected ,and u capable of infecting other highly becoz at early stage infected person infect orther more rapidly .
but sore throat is very common condition without hiv
chances of infected whith hiv very less compare to the being infected with hept b
so i will suggest u for and blood test for hiv
it will clear all doubt
if u r lucky this time please do not repeat the same mistak further
