Had Unprotected Sex. Having Swollen Glands In The Neck, Sore Throat, Pain In Pelvis, Foul Smell During Urination. Not STD. What Could It Be?
After unprotected sex ive developed swollen glands in my neck and sore throat i.also have pain in my pelvic groin area this was about three weeks to.a month ago im freaking out i went to the clinic.tested negative for chlymidia and gonorea and i took 2 hiv rapid test and one elisa test they were negative i also have a foul smell when i urinatei went to the hospital the doctor said i dnt have swollen glands on my groin area but i do have swollen glands in my neck ...my neck has been swollen for like 2 weeks not noticeable but i know its swollen...i dnt have a fecer or rash or chills but idk wats wrong wit me

I do understand your problem regarding the swelling in the neck. You should understand that unprotected sex involves some amount of non hygienic contact and thats the main cause of infection after the same.
This may be the same with you. You might have either strained on performing the act or got an infection which could have infected your throat .
For all these I would normally recommend an antibiotic like the amoxycilln- clavulanate 625 mg twice daily after food for five days along with tablet pantoprzaole 40 mg twice daily before food for two weeks. Your doctor will know about these.
Meanwhile take lots of warm fluids and do not strain further.
Wait for a week or two after you take the above treatment for the symptoms to go away. If they persist then take a throat swab, upper GI endoscopy and get back to me with the reports
