Had Unprotected Sex. Red Rashes On Penis Head, Itching, Burning Sensation. Need I Worry?
Hi there I had unprotected sexual about 4 days ago. Have now developed a spotty red rash on the rim and penis head. It's mostly centered around the rim. The spots are like tiny pin heads. It feels a tiny bit itchy and burns slightly but not painfully. I also frequently need to pee but it doesn't hurt. Also my penis is very smelly. I'm really worried this is herpes.
Hello Thanks for your query.Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have developed infection of glans of your penis (Ballanitis) due to unprotected sex .
Please get your routine urine test and urine culture done to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to.
Please take broad spectrum antibiotics along with anti inflammatory medication like Diclofenac twice daily along with topical antibiotic ointment like Neosporine twice daily.
Ensure to clean your genitals with warm water twice daily.
Ensure to drink more water. To keep your urine dilute This will help to control dysuria.
