Had Vaccination Shots, Got Swollen Welt On Back Of Arm. Worried?

My son got 3 vaccination shots yesterday 10/22/2013. This evening he pointed out to me he has a swollen welt on the back of his arm where one of the shots was administered, not to sure which one it was. The 3 shots he received was chickenpox, Tdap, and meningococcal. The question I have for you is. Should I be worried about the red swollen welt on the back of his arm?

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Swelling due to vaccination shot is a common thing .
T dap may be responsible for this swelling.
Ice massage ( gentle) 3-4 times in days for 3-4 days will provide complete relief .
This is not a cause of concern.
Good luck for little one. Dr. HET
